Howdy strangers

Okay, I don't really have anything to say but I need to break my weird thing I have against my blog these days (could it be -- I have other things to do!?)

In case anyone is still out there, and apparently Seraphim is (hey there), okay: here's a thing to read. Read The Brothers K by David James Duncan; it's one of the best-written and entertaining and moving books I've ever read from any period in any language. Okay, I only read English, but that's not the point. How can you deny a book that encompasses the following phrases?:

1) lolloping mutants
2) Mmmm! Yak butter!
3) The oracle demands your exhausted crustaceans.

Don't you just have to read it to know what the heck?

And the locations. Washington State, Viet Nam, Vancouver Island, and India. Go figure.

Okay, I have to go watch me some Lost (got it on dvd, addicted, MUST know what happened to Claire before I can go on in life).

Seacrest out.

PS. Oh yeah, I'm having another baby. Top names we're considering:

Thomas Kincaide, painter of light

Heavenly Haraani Tiger Lily

There, now you don't have to ask!

Cheers! My vote's for "Shecky," though "Thomas Kincaide, painter of light" might be a little more lucrative.

David James Duncan rocks. His collection of short stories, "River Teeth," is incredible.

I'm so so so so happy for you! I mean, except for the whole labour thing, which pretty much sucks, but the whole brand new human being thing is really cool.
at least after they move out of the house... :P
my vote is for Narthax.

(ps: only crazy people have 3 kids, didn't you know?)

You're actually, really, truly pregnant again? Wow. My vote is for Elvis (boy or girl, in fact). Actually shaking a bit so going to down lots of strong Scottish tea and call John. Bug live.

Okay... is this for real? Because, if it is, congratulations to you both!

Oh, and i say go for three of each... start a family band and take the show on the road. You've got the wheels to go on tour with already anyway....

Yay for babies! Congrats to you both! David James Duncan sounds ingenious, will have to look him up. As for names, I'd go with a about Bigdonius (can't spell it, but I think he's commemorated sometime in Sept.)? ;)

OK, we've got our brains into it and the most Scottish name we can think of is "Heather Doo'cot Skye Hainsworth". Howzat?!!!
Beats "rionnag mhor" which either means 'large mackerel' or 'great star' - either one is um, interesting, but that's what acquaintances (not friends) of ours have called their newest addition...
